
2010 Census results pending

With
the results of the 2010 Census pending, citizens and local officials alike are
wondering when they will be able to review data for their respective towns,
counties, region and state. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, data will be
released at various intervals over the next five months.
Total population for states will be released no later than December 31, 2010.
Redistricting data—which includes detailed data down to the 2010 Census
tabulation block group level—will become available on a state by state basis no
later than April 1, 2011. Data released in the redistricting interval will
contain numbers for total population by race, ethnicity, voting age, and vacant
housing for incorporated places such as cities, towns, and villages.
