WIB receives superior performance award

The Region 2000 Workforce Investment Board (WIB) has received a $10,000 Incentive Award from the Virginia Workforce Council at their quarterly meeting held in Charlottesville on Friday, June 27. WIB Executive Director Danny Inge, pictured, accepted the award for Sustained Superior Performance.

The federally-funded Workforce Investment Board provides career planning services for job seekers and employers through the Region 2000 Career Center and helps teens and young adults achieve success through its Youth Council services.
