Accepting bids for a fire damaged 2005 Caterpillar 973C track loader with ripper
Region 2000 Services Authority is accepting bids for a fire damaged 2005 Caterpillar 973C track loader with ripper. The machine has 8560 hours and the undercarriage was replaced at 7300 hrs. The machine is also equipped with a waste handler package.
The loader will be sold to the highest bidder on an "as is" basis. Region 2000 in no way expresses any warranty or guarantee on the machine. Bids must be mailed or hand delivered to the Region 2000 Services Authority Administration Office (2704 Concord Turnpike, Lynchburg Va. 24504) no later than 2:00 PM, Monday, April 20, 2009 identified on envelope as 973C Track Loader Bid. E-mailed or faxed bids will not be considered. The high bidder is responsible for full payment and removal of the machine no later than 5:00 PM, May 8th 2009. Payment must be made by certified check. No credit cards or personal checks accepted.
The loader is located at the Concord Turnpike Regional Landfill (2525 Concord Turnpike, Lynchburg VA. 24505). Bidders may make appointments to see the loader any time between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday thru Friday. Please contact Larry (Buzz) Hall @ 434-455-6334 to make an appointment.
