The Center for Advanced Engineering and Research (CAER) is seeking an Executive Director. The Executive Director is responsible for the management of all programs implemented by the CAER. This program currently focuses on a recently established initiative to deliver the research capacities of universities for the benefit of Region 2000 businesses. Future activities will likely include the application of technology in manufacturing, distance learning, focus on productivity, computer science management techniques, etc. The Executive Director is responsible for the selection and performance of other staff employed by the CAER; and a Board of Directors will employ and oversee the Executive Director.
 

CVCC is looking for individuals who would be interested in being an adjunct instructor in engineering for one of the state’s four year universities in Lynchburg. Initial qualifications include a doctorate in engineering and/or science.
