Greetings,
We hope that you will join us at Wired Wednesday on
July 25. With more people purchasing Apple computers
and wanting to use them at work, it can be a little
stressful on the IT person who doesn't know a lot
about how to integrate them or even if they should.
There will be time for questions and answers and
maybe a little debating the topic also. Also, please
consider joining our Future Focus EXPO event
committee, our first meeting will be July 17.

Using Apple in a Window's World |
|
Join us for lunch on July 25 with guest
speaker Travis Brown, Director of Tech
Support Services with TRAX Tech Services,
LLC.
With Apple gaining market share in computing
technology, how does your organization
integrate these technologies into your
network, or do you? Specific questions to be
addressed include:
- Integrating Microsoft Office
applications with a Mac
- Connecting Macs to Windows Server
resources
- Running ANY Windows application on
mac (virtualization)
Wired Wednesday will be held at Noon on July
25 at Central VA Community College, Merritt
Hall Room 5146.
The cost of admission is $10 for members and
$15 for non-members and includes lunch.
Please RSVP to rsvp@region2000.org or call
the Tech Council at 847-1447 to reserve your
space. Wired Wednesday's are great
networking events.

One of the three main initiatives of the
Technology Council is building a Tech-Smart

technology savvy, we have cataloged the
existing programs and initiatives already in
place within Region 2000 that support
technology focused occupational training and
career choices.
This catalog of programs is ever expanding
and available for free via download. If you
know of a program that is not listed, please
