taking a break this month from our networking events
as we plan our late summer and fall activities. The
summer academies at CVCC for area middle school

2008 VA's Linked Workforce Showcase

Virginia Economic Bridge, Inc. will be
hosting informational meetings on June 19
for Region 2000 companies who are interested
in participating in the third annual
Virginia's Linked Workforce Showcase: Region
2000 Advanced Manufacturing, Electronics &
IT Showcase.
Virginia's Linked Workforce Showcase is a
program that connects businesses from a
target region with prime federal contractors
and second tier suppliers for structured
roundtable discussions. VEB works with the
Region 2000 companies to cultivate marketing
materials and provide information about
federal and state government certifications
and requirements. In addition, VEB offers
pertinent information that can include legal
advice regarding intellectual properties and
how to work with prime contractors. There
are only 10 spaces available for Region 2000
companies to participate this year.
