Fall Wired Wednesday Luncheon - Sep. 21
"No Man's Land"
We are pleased to announce that Doug Tatum, CEO of Tatum Partners will
be our guest speaker at our fall Wired Wednesday luncheon. Doug will
be presenting "No Man's Land" a presentation given to select groups of
CEO's nationwide.
INC magazine, in its 2004 INC 500 issue, featured Doug, discussing the
tricky stage of growth called No Man's Land. "Basically it describes a
transition that every company has to go through between being too big
to be small and too small to be big," Tatum says. "Once you get
through No Man's Land, you end up reviving that growth again. But if
your growth slows down, you're stuck." He goes on to describe four
hurdles company founders face during this stage, and which many INC
500 companies have already faced.
Our Fall Wired Wednesday is sponsored by Tatum Partners and will be
held at the Holiday Inn Select in downtown Lynchburg from noon until
1:30 p.m. The cost of admission is $10 per person for Technology
Council Members ($15 for non-members) and includes lunch. Seating is
limited; please RSVP to rsvp@r2ktech.org or by calling the Region 2000
Technology Council at 434.847.1447. Wired Wednesdays are great
