Career Center to host free seminar series for dislocated workers
The Region 2000 Career Center continues to respond to the increase in local residents who are losing their jobs during this economic downturn. The Center is hosting a series of free seminars to help people cope with layoffs, begin their search for employment, and learn basic computer skills. There are five seminars scheduled at the Bedford Public Library in partnership with the Career Center, CVCC, and the Hope Network.
- Tuesday, March 17, 1:30 - 3 pm - "What Educaiton has to offer You!"
- Friday, March 20, 1:30 - 2:15 pm or 3:30 - 4:15 pm - "Basic Computer Skills"
- Monday, March 24, 1:30 - 3 pm - "Resume Wirting and Interview Techniques"
- Friday, March 27, 1:30 - 3 pm - "Job Search Techniques"
- Friday, April 3, 1:30 - 3 pm - "Coping with Job Loss"
