Grants database to help non-profits

United Way of Central Virginia worked with Virginia’s Region 2000 Local Government Council and the City of Lynchburg to bring Grants Locator from eCivis to non-profits in Central Virginia. This online database includes information on available grants and helpful resources such as application documents, notes from program officers, tips on how to craft proposals, and previous year’s awards.

“Grants Locator is a great resource and tool for our community. The City is pleased that United Way and Region 2000 collaborated in purchasing this software to facilitate their search for federal, state and foundation resources that may not have been tapped previously,” said Deputy City Manager Bonnie Svrcek.

For more information on Grants Locator or to find out how to access the database, please contact Joan Phelps, VP of Community Impact at United Way, at 434-846-8467.
