Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Days & Electronic Recycling
Household hazardous waste & electronic recycling days are
Saturday April 9, June 11, August 13, & October 8, 2011.

The Region 2000 Services Authority hosts four collection days a year at the Concord Turnpike Regional Landfill from 8 a.m. to noon for household hazardous waste (HHW) and electronic recycling. All Lynchburg City, Amherst, Appomattox, Campbell (including the Towns of Altavista & Brookneal) and Nelson County residents can participate.
For "speedier" serivce on collection day please fill out the Household/E-waste verification form in advance and bring to the collection site.

What to bring?
You must present a photo ID!
Please bring items in non-returnable containers.
Amherst, Appomattox and Nelson County residents must bring a voucher from your county's solid waste department.
