Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) & Electronic Recycling Collection Days set for 2009

Collection Days held April 11, June 13, August 8, October 10

The Region 2000 Services Authority hosts four collection days a year at the Concord Turnpike Regional Landfill from 8 a.m. to noon for household hazardous waste (HHW) and electronic recycling (with VA Recycles LLC.) All Lynchburg City, Amherst, Appomattox, Campbell (including the Towns of Altavista & Brookneal) and Nelson County residents are encouraged to participate.

The 2009 Collection Dates will be held on April 11, June 13, August 8, and October 10 at the Concord Turnpike Regional Landfill, 2525 Concord Turnpike, Lynchburg.

You must present a photo ID. Please bring items in non-returnable containers.

Amherst, Appomattox and Nelson County residents must bring a voucher from your county's solid waste department. To obtain a voucher, please call:
