This project will evaluate and make recommendations for the management and future development of Independence Boulevard from its intersection with Rt. 221 and its intersection with East Main Street.

Bedford County Route 24 Corridor Study

This project will evaluate and make recommendations for the management of current and future development on Rt. 24 in the rural portion of Bedford County from its intersection with Rt. 122 toward the Roanoke County line.

Development of a Regional Action Plan for Coordinated Land Use and Transportation Planning

This pilot project provides the opportunity to improve transportation within the Virginia's Region 2000 community. The project will explore, refine, and hopefully put into practice techniques for maximizing the transportation investment through improved coordination between land use and transportation planning.
