Rural Transportation Planning Assistance Program

The Virginia's Region 2000 Partnership Rural Transportation Planning Assistance Program was established in 1993 by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). This program aids VDOT in fulfilling the requirements of the State Planning Process to address the transportation planning needs of areas outside the metropolitan areas. An annual Assistance Program is developed and accomplished each year.
