Regional
Broadband Infrastructure Study - May 2004 (2.5MB)
The purpose of
the project was to provide the economic development departments
in the region with an assessment of the high-speed Internet
capability available in the Region 2000 area. The primary goal
of this project was to discover who were the
Internet providers in the region, what they had to offer
and where they offered it. The study served two
purposes. First was to identify and catalog the broadband
resources in the region with an emphasis on discovering the
region’s strengths and weakness in this area. The second was to
suggest solutions to the problem areas as well as how the region
should proceed to implement the suggested solutions. |
