Telecommunications Infrastructure

Telecommunications infrastructure is of great importance to the businesses and citizens of Region 2000. The region offers multiple providers of telephone, cellular, and broadband telecommunications. Broadband infrastructure is a top priority of the Region 2000 Technology Council and in May 2004, the Council released a comprehensive study cataloging the region’s broadband capabilities and its plan for increasing service offerings throughout the region over the next decade.
