Thomasville Furniture job fair scheduled for Feb. 18 and March 11

Area employers are invited to meet more than 150 qualified job applicants from Thomasville Furniture Company in Appomattox at a job fair held at the plant on Feb. 18 and March 11, 2:30 - 4 p.m. (both days.)
The Thomasville operation will begin closing in March and plant managers are providing this opportunity for companies in the region to talk with employees. These Thomasville employees have an average of 20 years experience in such positions as: production management and supervision, engineering and maintenance, human resources, production planning, warehouse/shipping, customer service, quality assurance, accounting, purchasing, product engineering, skilled trades and a host of other job titles and business service areas.
