Urgent train funding meeting to be held Friday, February 4

The Piedmont Rail Coalition is holding a Legislative Forum on Friday, February 4 at the Charlottesville Omni Hotel at 10 a.m. to discuss serious funding issues facing the Lynchburg-DC passenger train and its future extension to Roanoke.
Knowledgeable speakers will describe pending legislation in the 2011 General Assembly that has significant implications for the Lynchburg-DC service. Piedmont Rail Coalition will develop a plan for immediate action that local leaders, citizens and local governments can take to support the legislation.
