Virginia's Region 2000 Partnership wins NADO Innovation Award

Virginia's Region 2000 Partnership has received a 2009 Innovation Award from the National Association of Development Organizations (NADO) for its work on branding the partnership.

Earlier this year, the Region 2000 Partnership underwent an extensive branding process to establish a framework to improve communication with its stakeholders and update the identity of the Partnership and member organizations.

There are six organizations within Virginia's Region 2000 Partnership, each with distinct missions that point toward a common goal of regional innovation, collaboration and economic growth. Each organization also participates in a region-wide strategic planning process that outlines the strategies it will undertake as part of the Partnership's goals and objectives.

The award will be presented publicly at NADO's Annual Training Conference August 29 - September 1 in Chicago.
