Smith Mountain Lake

Central Virginia is home to the second largest body of water in the state. Smith Mountain Lake is a 20,000 acre lake that is enjoyed year-round. You can enjoy swimming, sailing, water skiing, jet skiing, fishing, and parasailing.

Leesville Lake

Leesville Lake is just south of Smith Mountain Lake. Leesville Lake, located in Campbell County provides 4,000 acres of water activites. Here you can enjoy swimming, sailing, water skiing, jet skiing and fishing.

The James River

The James River runs through the Central Virginia region and provides a getaway for water lovers. The river is wide enough in some sections on which to water ski. Kayaking and canoeing is also fun and relaxing whether you are a beginner or more advanced.
