Our Mission: Encourage, Equip, and Empower at-risk youth to succeed in their academic and employment goals

Who We Can Help: 14-21 year olds in Lynchburg, Bedford and the Counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford and Campbell
How We Help:
* Tutoring to increase basic skills
* Work Readiness training
* Paid and volunteer work experiences
* Additional Trainings or Apprenticeships
* Comprehensive case management support
* Supportive Services
* Support and assistance in exploring options for post secondary education

There are three eligiblity standards our clients must meet:

● AGE/CITIZENSHIP ELIGIBILITY:
All clients must be between the ages of 14-21 and a legal U.S. citizen.

● INCOME ELIGIBILITY:
All clients must meet the definition of a low-income individual verified with one of the following sources:
* Family/individual income at or below the poverty line or 70% of lower living standard
* TANF
* Food stamps
* Foster child
* Homeless

● YOUTH BARRIER to EDUCATION or EMPLOYMENT
*
Basic skills deficient
* School dropout
* Homeless/ Foster Child/ Run-away
* Pregnant or parenting
* Offender

Consumer Credit Counseling Service: offers budgeting assistance/financial evaluation through a program of the Alliance forFamilies and Children. Certified by the National Foundation of Credit Counselors.  We also offer a debt
management plan: a low-interest, low fee, bill consolidation program.  For more information, contact Clark Jefferson,
