Wireless Research Lab Open for Business at Liberty University

Local businesses won't have to travel far to have their electronics tested thanks to Liberty University and the Center for Advanced Engineering and Research (CAER) that hosted a grand opening for the Region 2000 Wireless Research Lab on Tuesday, November 13 at Liberty University Campus North.

More than 50 people gathered to celebrate and tour the LU facility that will offer wireless research, development, pre-compliance and certification testing, as well as access to world-class expertise through CAER affiliates. "This lab is a tremendous resource for knowledge creation on a regional scale," said Bob Bailey, executive director of the CAER.

Funding for the new equipment was provided through the CAER which helped get the lab up to wireless testing and FCC standards. For more information, please contact Bob Bailey at bbailey@caer.us or call 434-847-1447.
